War-Displaced Elder Care Fund
Donate crypto to this elderly care cause in Ukraine. We accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and six other coins, with no platform fee.
Funds home-based care, assistive devices and health support for elderly residents who stayed behind in frontline areas, many too frail to evacuate.
Why this matters in Ukraine
Ukraine has one of the oldest populations of any country at war, and the people who stay closest to the fighting are disproportionately over 60. Many have heart disease, diabetes or mobility problems that need regular checks and a steady supply of medication, yet clinics in frontline districts have been damaged, staff have left and ambulances may not come at all.
Older people with disabilities face a particular gap. They may be unable to reach an evacuation bus, sit for hours in a shelter or queue at a distribution point, and they are often missed by assessments that count households rather than individuals. Care workers who travel to people, rather than waiting for people to travel to them, are frequently the only way chronic illness gets watched and a dangerous decline is caught before it becomes an emergency.

Charity Commission for England and Wales (parent: HelpAge International) · No. 288180
Founded 2014 · Headquarters: Lviv
HelpAge's Ukraine operation delivers humanitarian aid, home-based care and health support to older people in war-affected and frontline areas.
How they work: HelpAge has worked in eastern Ukraine since 2014, running much of its operation through local staff and volunteers. Its teams make care visits to isolated or immobile older people, help with household tasks, adapt homes to make them more accessible and provide walking frames and canes. It runs community spaces where older people, many with disabilities, can meet safely, and since 2016 has led a working group that pushes humanitarian agencies to include older people and people with disabilities.
Track record: Since the war began in 2022, HelpAge has provided food, medicine and hygiene supplies to older people in Ukraine.

Giving in Ukraine
War shapes every Ukrainian cause on the list. Two support elderly people who stayed in frontline villages, too frail or unwilling to leave, through home-based care and regular supply deliveries. Caritas Ukraine funds church-run shelter and food for displaced families near the front. The remaining two serve veterans: trauma care through Veteran Hub, and prosthetic limbs and physical rehabilitation through Superhumans Center, needs that grow as the fighting continues.
5 causes are listed in Ukraine, each with its own verified organization. $265,284 has been distributed to causes in Ukraine since 2021.
